Need prayer for the sale of our properties so that we can finally move to another country. We "retired" in the Caribbean and have led many to the Lord here, we have previously lived in Brasil and Colombia doing missionary work.  Our family is in the USA.  We feel God is calling us to another country, we are packed and ready to go because last yr we almost close on our home and at the very last minute it fell through. There are people interested but no closing.  Please pray for my husband and I, we are feeling discouraged and low. Really need support in prayer. We know God is in control of our lives and we trust Him and feel our work here is done, this is not an easy country, witchcraft, religious spirits and you name it.  We placed the properties with several people, not exclusive, and yesterday with a lady that has clients from Spain arriving tomorrow to invest, they already have invested in the area, this is a fast growing tourist area.

The rain is stop now, i was accident of motorcycle yesterday when I drive to visit in Kapalong who was affected the flood, the water covered the whole road and I tried to drive the motorcyle was stop the engine in the middle and the water is so strong I almost died. Thanks be to God He is merciful and deliver from the danger.

Some are got sick now due of the lack of food and have 5 died already, please keep in your prayers. It is worse than before and the food is the most needed now.

I hope and pray God will make a way to supply the needs. Keep in your prayers, I am resting now in my house and hoping to have some help for the brethrens who are asking help from the churches who are affected very much the calamities. Food is badly needed.

My son, Travis Turley, who has not been able to eat
solid food other than things with mash potatoe
consistancy for 12 years, flies to Texas on Friday the
23 of January. he is 32 yrs old. Due to his poor
nutrition as he has had to live on boost, his immune
system is very bad, so he also needs prayer for his
immune system. He is also in a backslidden condition
spiritually so he needs prayer.

I also am struggling in my health some days unable to
do much of anything. I have been told of having many
health problems, Adrenal burnout, fibromyalgia,
thyroid problems, chronic fatigue, hormone inbalance,
hypoglecemic. I am believing for total deliverance and
to stay in God's will.

My husband John, needs to get rid of hindrances
holding him back from moving into things of God. He
seems to have a blockage of wanting to read the Word
and in understanding it. He struggles with doubt and
unbelief.

I have a Father who was saved last February and has no
one to disciple him. He is 86 and can't get out of
the home much as he is so weak in his body.

All of this we can really use prayer for.

Thank-you so much for the prayers. These are much
more urgent than I was able to put into words.

In the last seven month since arriving in Houston,
I have finally decided that I have missed God somehow, or If this was the Lord leading us here, It was for a different purpose than what we set out to,
there is a practical side of Ministry that I have a lot to learn still,
and I have fallen flat on my face in this move.
But I am determined To get back on track , and If God will have mercy on me, and help me get back to LUBBOCK
I wish to GET BACK TO THE EAST SIDE MINISTRY and the things I was doing as a pastor in LUBBOCK
I am so unfulfilled here, and it is a big trap to get me off track,
PLEASE PRAY that the enemies attempt to get me off track be thrarted,
and that He will suffer the biggest defeat in history .
I am mad as I know how to be because I was decieved, into thinking no one cared, and I was bitter , and blaming my failures on other people,
instead of accepting responmsibility and Pressing Forward,
I played teh blame Game,
BUT now I see that I was decieved, aND i REPENT OF UNFORGIVENESS,
and hurt feelings, and all that I have been holding on to, and I want to start over again in Lubbock If it truely be GODS WILL

Mother has a brother named Ralph Johnson who lives in California, he and his wife are very sick.  His wife, Irene, is a bad diabetic who has been in the hospital off and on for several months, has lost several toes and yesterday part of one heel.  Ralph has heart problems and was told this week that he needs aortic valve replacement (open heart surgery) soon, he is waiting to schedule his surgery to make sure she survives hers, please lift them, their children and Mother and her siblings up as they are all worried about them both and Mother, Hilda and Curtis have  lost one sibling recently and the rest of them are not in good health anymore.

 
I work with a woman whose pastor's grown daughter has been in the hospital with cancer, her husband left the hospital monday afternoon to go home and rest because he did not feel well, his 14 year old daughter found him dead in the bed the next morning, the girl's mother came home from the hospital to go to the funeral and the girl found her mother dead in the bed this am, at this point i do not know their names but God does, please remember this family as they go through this horrible time, especially lift this young girl who has discovered both her parents dead this week.

Please pray for a cleansing in our chests and lungs from this nagging dry cough. It seems to be a germ or bug that is causing these nagging coughs.
